Helena Dunne

Helena started practicing yoga 10 years ago as a practice to stretch out tight muscles from running as the two compliment each other perfectly!

However this useful pairing turned into something more than just a stretching practice as she discovered the benefits of it becoming a truly mind, body and soul practice.

“I love being able to roll out my mat, taking time to connect with my breath and my body and always finish practice feeling renewed”.

Helena completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training last year at Harewood Holistics with a focus on Vinyasa and Pranayama. Helena teaches the Early Flow vinyasa class, with lots of balancing poses to feel strong, ending with slower movements and a calming Savasana will leave you feeling like your energy has uplifted.

3 words to describe Helena’s class:

  • dynamic
  • energising
  • uplifting

My favourite pose is Ardha Chandrasana – half moon because there’s no way your mind can focus on anything else whilst balancing, it requires your full focus and coordination.

When not practicing Yoga you’ll find Helena out running, cycling, catching up with friends over coffee and pastries, or seeing live music.
