Kate Sanderson

Kate has practiced yoga since childhood – her mum trained as a yoga teacher in the 1970s so some of Kate’s earliest memories are of down dog on the living room floor.

Kate recently finished her teacher training on the 300 hour programme with Yoga Kula in Leeds, working with amazing teachers and exploring a wide range of yoga styles, history and philosophy.

Kate teaches hatha, restorative and chair yoga and aim to create strong foundations through the core yoga poses and breath.

Kate is interested in how we can adapt our practice as our bodies change or age, making sure we continue to challenge ourselves, build strength and be playful.

When not teaching Yoga, I run Circus Leeds – a community circus based in Chapeltown/ Harehills and walk my very woofy Irish terrier. I recently finished a PhD so I also sleep a lot.
